International Water-Guard (IWG) attended the Dubai Airshow held from November 17th – 21st, which is the Middle East's leading aerospace event.
"It’s important for IWG to explore new markets in the aviation industry and the Middle East is a market that’s doing extremely well,” says Giles Lapierre, Director, Sales and Marketing. “Being at the Dubai Airshow was a great way to introduce IWG’s latest products to new customers and discover new business opportunities."
For IWG, this was their first time attending the Dubai Airshow. Last year, Lapierre went to the Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) conference, and due to its success he knew he had to return to the region. Throughout the Dubai Airshow, Lapierre met with existing and new customers to promote the on-demand water heaters, UV water treatment units, and the new compact water module.
According to Speed News, a key aviation publication, 580 aircraft were sold at the Dubai show this year. Mr. Lapierre believes there are substantial new business opportunities for IWG in the Middle East, and an important lesson has been learned through recent travel to the region. If you are serious about doing business there, you need a consistent presence at important trade shows like MEBA and the Dubai Airshow. Persistence is key to building relationships and an annual presence will be conducive to developing the business opportunities IWG is looking to secure.
Mr. Lapierre is confidant that new revenues are just around the corner for IWG in this massive new market, and believes the company’s award winning customer service will prevail in the long term.
