Daytime Emmy’s Now Accepting Online Submissions With YANGAROO’s DMDS Technology

More details recently emerged about the relationship between YANGAROO and the Daytime Emmy Awards in an article that appeared in entertainment publication, While the relationship between the two was press released last February, the article provided more detail on how YOO’s proprietary technology will be utilized for online voting.

According to Variety’s article, as of Wednesday December 4th the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences began accepting online submissions for the 81 categories in the Daytime Emmy Awards using YANGAROO’s DMDS technology.

This will be the first time in the Daytime Emmy’s 41 year history that submissions are allowed exclusively online. Using the DMDS platform, judges will have the ability to stream entries and cast their ballots virtually instead of using a paper ballot.

Submissions are being accepted until January 17, 2014 and the event typically airs in June.
