FLYHT Receives Key Certification To Retrofit AFIRS 228 Onto Boeing 767 - 200/300 Series

This morning, FLYHT announced it received an STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) from Transport Canada, which now allows airlines to install AFIRS 228 onto any in-service Boeing 767-200 or Boeing 767-300 aircraft.

The Boeing 767 is an extremely popular aircraft.

From Wikipedia: The 767 is the first twinjet wide-body type to reach 1,000 aircraft delivered. As of May 2013, Boeing has received 1,108 orders for the 767 from 71 customers; 1,045 have been delivered. A total of 838 of these aircraft were in service in July 2012; the most popular variant is the 767-300ER, with 552 delivered; Delta Air Lines is the largest operator, with 94 aircraft.
