Bob McWhirter on BNN: We think 2014 is the year of traction

FLYHT Aerospace Solutions Ltd.
TSX Venture: FLY
Shares Issued: 142.5 million
Fully Diluted: 182.1 million

If you missed it, last Friday afternoon on Canada’s Business News Network, Selective Asset Management Portfolio Manager Bob McWhirter took a question from a caller on FLYHT Aerospace. According to Mr. McWhirter, who personally owns the stock, he expects great things to happen for FLYHT in 2014. Amongst other things, he expects that FLYHT will be installing its technology on new Airbus planes, which he says is important because approximately 25% of the fleet in the world has the potential to use the product. But because of the roughly $100,000 per plane, per year in fuel savings, he thinks it has a greater chance to roll out to Airbus’ fleet of approximately 4,000 planes.
