It’s Official – L-3 Announces Agreement with Airbus For FLYHT Technology

In a news release issued today, L-3 Aviation Recorders (a division of L-3 Communications - LLL:NYSE) announced that it has signed an agreement with Airbus to “certify and provide” FLYHT’s real-time data communications and SATCOM solution technology, for the installation on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.

According to Wikipedia - As of August 2012, a total of 5,232 Airbus A320 family aircraft have been delivered, of which 4,858 are in service. In addition, another 3,621 airliners are on firm order. It ranked as the world's fastest-selling jet airliner family according to records from 2005 to 2007, and as the best-selling single-generation aircraft programme.

This announcement is a significant achievement for FLYHT as it marks the first time that L-3 has publicly discussed its reseller agreement with FLYHT.
