In case you missed it, late Friday, VentriPoint announced
that the Mayo Clinic is now operational in its 75 patient pulmonary hypertension
study. The Rochester Minnesota hospital is the last hospital to be added to the
multi-centre study.
The Mayo Clinic joins the University of Chicago in Chicago;
Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh; Baylor in Houston; Brigham and Women’s
in Boston; Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland; Johns Hopkins in Baltimore and the
Toronto General Hospital in Toronto.
VentriPoint anticipates the study to be completed and
submitted to the FDA by Q3-12. The company expects a
response from the FDA within the mandatory 90 days so investors should hear
something by Q4 of this year.
