Private Placement For Asia Now Completed At A Premium To Market

Asia Now (TSX-V: NOW)

Asia Now just announced it raised funds at a premium over its share prices, despite tough global markets for small-cap companies.

Just over one million shares at $0.55 per share were sold for proceeds of $582,442. As of Jan 03, 2008, Asia Now's shares closed at $0.47.

A finder's fee of $46,595 was paid along with 105,899 warrants that are exercisable at $0.55 per share until January 3rd, 2009.

The proceeds will be used to finance the advancement of two of its three major mining projects in China. (See included map for where the sites - Habo and Beiya - are located.)

Interestingly, most of the funds were raised through investors in China.
