Is a Large Open Pit Mining Operation In Asia Now’s Future?

Asia Now (TSX-V: NOW)

The Company is certainly upbeat as it is clearly onto something of importance based on the headline in its news release, “Asia Now Finds Major Gold and Base Metals Zone at Beiya”.

Just released assay results from a second drill hole on its Beiya project in Yunnan Province in China led NOW to state that “these drill results indicate a very extensive gold and base metal mineral base with high potential for a very large, gold, silver and polymetallic deposit”.

Based on the Company’s current understanding of the host geology, it appears that the thick mineralized zone extends over at least 1,200 metres from east to west on its property. This zone is adjacent to the largest open pit gold mine in Yunnan.

The Beiya project is an exciting one as it covers 586 square kilometers in what is a proven hot zone for gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc.

Asia Now is currently moving a second drill rig north on the property as the just completed drill hole proves the zone extends in that direction.

Asia Now can earn up to a 90% interest in the entire project.
