AeroMechancial Moves Up The Auditor Chain

AeroMechancial Services announced Oct. 16th that its increasing needs for an auditing firm with extensive international experience caused it to switch auditors from Grant Thornton to the larger firm of KPMG LLP.
AeroMechanical has used Grant Thornton for the last seven years and it stated there were no disagreements or outstanding issues with its old accounting firm that forced the switch.
Rather, the Calgary-based high-tech aviation firm is increasingly venturing abroad in its quest for new business and a firm with greater international experience - especially in international tax - was required.
KPMG, like AeroMechanical, is also a member of IATA, the International Air Transport Association.
In addition, KPMG also has greater depth in the aviation and high tech industries.
