Serenic Joins the Howard Group Portfolio

The Howard Group is pleased to announce its newest addition to their client portfolio – Serenic Corporation (SER: TSX-V).

The world as we know it is plagued with environmental concerns, starving populations, and a lack of clean water and clothing; as a result people are volunteering and donating money to charitable organizations. With this recent focus on charities, the Not-For-Profit sector has seen exponential growth over the past few decades. Serenic provides financial and operational software (named Navigator) to medium to large Charitable Organizations and Public Sector entities (Government and Education). Simply stated, Serenic Corporation provides a much needed software solution to the growing non-profit market niche.

Two months ago, Serenic signed their largest contract to date with CARE USA, which amounted to a low seven
-figure deal. They are specifically targeting medium to large Not-For-Profit organizations, which clearly has a potential for their Navigator software in excess of $3.5 Billion US.
Serenic’s specialized business software applications are based on Microsoft’s Dynamics NAV enterprise resource planning (“ERP”) technology. On October 2006, they entered into an embedded independent software vendor (ISV) agreement with Microsoft, as their Dynamics NAV vendor for Not-For-Profit and Public Sectors. In addition, they have been appointed by Microsoft as the exclusive developer of Human Resources and Payroll applications for their Microsoft Dynamics NAV in North America, for horizontal markets.

At present, Serenic is servicing over 1,400 customers worldwide with their software solutions. They recorded over $7,900,000 in revenue last year, and interestingly, as a software company, 30% of their revenue is recurring.

SER is currently trading at $0.71 on the TSX-V. We are looking forward to introducing this story to the investment community.
